How The LumiWed Journal is written, who's accountable for it, and the standards every article is held to.
Who writes the Journal
The LumiWed Journal is written and overseen by Robin Scharf, LumiWed's founder. He's lived in more than four countries, is in a multicultural relationship himself, and started LumiWed after watching friends from every corner of the world navigate the same quiet struggle at their own weddings — so the guidance here comes from someone who's actually lived this, not just researched it.
What we cover
Practical guidance for multilingual and multicultural wedding planning: language and translation, cultural etiquette, real-world traditions, and the technology couples use to bring it all together.
How articles get made
Most Journal articles are drafted with AI assistance as part of a structured research-to-publish pipeline — see our AI Usage Policy for exactly what that means. Every article is held to the same standard regardless of how it was drafted: accurate, specific, and free of invented statistics or generic filler.
Cultural claims are framed as general guidance, not universal rules — traditions vary by family, region, and generation, and we try to say so rather than flatten that nuance.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. See our Fact-Checking Policy for how we handle corrections, and how to report one.
